4 different tropical shades

Dear watch aficionado.

Herewith I want to show you four different, legendary, tropical watches. The first one is a superb Patek Philippe 3700/1. Legendary Nautilus (the frist one, the only one, the true one) in really great condition, strong case, long bracelet. Then there is that dial, looking so beautiful and warm with the tropical shades, making this a unique 3700/1.

The second one is a legendary Rolex 6265 Daytona from 1971. Coming with a strong case, still retaining the correct MK2 pusher and those superb sub dials in different tropical shades. This is really a so cool looking 6265 Daytona and has a sublime presence on the wrist.

Another legendary reference is the Rolex 6542 GMT. Not only that this has a sublime tropical dial, but it wears as well the ultra rare Serpico Y Laino retailers signature. The more it retains as well the original caseback with the S&L Acero engraving. This 6542 comes all original, the only thing that it does miss is the original bakelite bezel. But hey, therefore is the price lower and you still get an amazing looking watch and that super rare Serpico Y Laino signature.

The fourth in the row is this amazing IWC 308 from 1942. The watch has aged really in an amazing way. As you can see, the dial has tropicalized in a uniform light brown color which gives this watch an amazing appearance and uniqueness.

These four watches do show very well how different the tropical shades can be. All of them have aged naturally and each of them is unique with its own tropical shades. I do personally always love to see all those small differences, all those unique signs of aging. That is what makes it so interesting to collect vintage timepieces and to show my clients these small differences that makes each watch of these four special in its own way.

I warmly invite you to take a look as well at the website of my boutique www.watchcollector.lu for the current offer of vintage and independent timepieces.

Kind regards.

NEW available at my boutique ----> Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65, exceptional condition, NOS

Dear watch aficionado.

New available at my boutique www.watchcollector.lu is this amazing Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65 in exceptional condition, NOS.

These Omega Speedmasters are getting more and more sought after and now with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, this example of a perfect 105.003-65 "Pre-Moon" would be certainly a great trophy for every collector. To find these "Ed White" Speedmasters in exceptional condition with an untouched dial, untouched case and untouched movement is almost impossible nowadays and makes this Speedy even more special. Bought by the current owner, original owner, in the 1970s from an official Omega dealer, he left the watch its entire life stored at a safe location.
The watch shows some lovely signs of aging, the lume has gained over the last decades a nice even patina. The case, never touched, still as strong as the first day when it left the Omega atelier. The movement, never touched. This example can be certainly described as NOS and once you hold it in your hands you won't give it away anymore.
This Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65 is certainly a great addition for every high class collector as it is for sure one of the best Ed White Speedmasters to have appeared on the market.

Kind regards.

Patek Philippe ----> gravé & émaillé technique

Dear watch aficionado.

Gravé main & émaillé. All the early Patek Philippe timepieces did have dials made by Cadran Stern, which were mostly all finished by the highly complicated gravé main & émaillé technique. This technique was very demanding and needed lot of craftsmenship, knowledge and experience to be done.

I warmly invite you to take a look at the website of my boutique www.watchcollector.lu
for more photos and informations as well to discover the other vintage timepieces and independent timepieces that are currently in my offer.

Dear watch aficionado.

This is a very special Patek Philippe timepiece, a reference 605HU (Heures Universelles) with its certificat d'origine, original box and the instructional sheet! The watch itself is in perfect condition. As one can see it has a very beautiful oxidation on the case and is still in perfect shape. The dial, a real feast to the eyes, completely gravé main & émaillé, a real piece of art.

The more, this is the only 605 Heures Universelles in such perfect condition combined with the certificat d'origine, original box and instructional sheet.

A real collectors timepiece.

NEW at my boutique ----> Rolex 1675 gilt dial

Dear watch aficionado.

NEW available at my boutique www.watchcollector.lu is this Rolex 1675 gilt dial from 1966.

This is a superbly preserved example of the legendary Rolex 1675 series with the much sought after gilt dial. The gilt gloss dial is a real feast to the eyes and has nicely aged lume plots with matching patina on the lume of the hands. The GMT blue red inlay has nicely aged and faded colours. The case as strong as one could wish for, fat lugs, nice bevels. The watch comes on a US stretch bracelet from 1966 which is still strong too.

This is certainly one of the best preserved 1675's with gilt dial and it will be a great addition for every distinguished collector, as these examples are getting harder and harder to find in great original shape.

I warmly invite you to take a look at the website of my boutique www.watchcollector.lu for more photos and watches that are currently up for sale.
