Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Eberhard and Leonidas @ Sotheby's May 13

For the upcoming sale at Sotheby's on May 13 I picked some beautiful and rare chronographs. To start, I chose this beautiful 1945 Leonidas monopusher split seconds chronograph. It is cased in 43mm stainless steel and comes with matte silver dial with arabic numerals and blue tachymeter scale. Estimated 20 000 CHF - 30 000 CHF (LOT N°216).

This one is a really great and rare Eberhard split seconds chronograph from 1945. With its 40mm diameter it does have the perfect size. Great timepiece for the money. Estimated 18 000 CHF - 25 000 CHF (LOT N°214).

I like these early chronographs by Audemars Piguet. They do have such a good looking and clean design as the following chronograph from 1946 with its 35mm yellow gold case, beautiful silver matte dial with its blue tachymeter scale outside. Great watch for the money. Estimated 7 000 CHF - 9 000 CHF (LOT N°143).

This one is a superb never known before Patek Philippe single button chronograph officer from 1927. There are only 7 known of this example and this one is the 8 surfaced publicly until today! It is an historical very important watch as this is one of the first known examples from this period of complication wristwatch production. Estimated 160 000 CHF - 260 000 CHF (LOT N° 150).

I warmly invite you as well to visit the website of my boutique, where you can see some very beautiful and rare timepieces. www.watchcollector.lu
