NEW Benzinger ONE project - Patek Philippe for Tiffany & Co. ----> update, main plate finished guilloché-main and squeletté-main plus dial

Dear watch aficionado.

Since my last post for my project "Benzinger ONE - Patek Philippe for Tiffany & Co." (first fitting of the naked movement article, here & the design article, here & some parts finished with guillochage et gravage, here & main plate guilloché, here) we have worked on the finissage of the main plate and did cut out all the parts by hand to get a nice squelette done. Plus we have finished the dial so far (breguet frost finish comes later).

On the following two pictures you can see the main plate with its bridge finished with its nice guilloché by hand and the finished squelette by hand. To get the squelette done correctly is a crutial part of the work, because the smallest mistakes can ruin the whole work. As you can see on my previous posts, there is always first the guilloché-main and gravé-main made and then later the squelette.

On the following two photos you can see once the main plate fitted with its bridge at 3 o'clock. And then on the second photo you can see the dial, which will give a sublime view to the movement, and its Patek cross entirely gravé-main and squeletté-main. The Breguet Frost finish of the dial will be done later as well the different colors of the main plate and bridges will be done at a later point. I did add as well a third photo of the naked movement, when we did the first fitting into the case, to give you a better idea of the different parts.
