Benzinger "Zeitsprung II"

Zeitsprung II, steel case 40mm, Korn-guilloché, roman hours
Zeitsprung II, gold case 40mm, Strahlen-guilloché, arabic hours

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "Zeitsprung II". Limited to 25 pieces, only 2 are still available!

What makes this watch so interesting is not only the design but also what is under the dial. Jochen Benzinger was able to locate a limited number of extremely rare Kasper movements 1415, which were made by Emil Kasper & Co in Pforzheim from 1911 to the 1970's.

Benzinger and his master watchmaker transformed the movement into a jump hour complication. Many modivications to the base movement were required to create the jump hour function.

I displayed 3 different versions of the "Zeitsprung II":
  • first one is with arabic hours and minutes indicator, satinless steel case 40mm, hand-guilloché dial (Strahlenguilloché)
  • second one is with roman hours indicator, stainless steel case 40mm, hand guilloché-Korn dial and the dial comes with the typical original Breguet frost finish
  • third one is with arabic hours indicator, 750/000 gold case 40mm, hand Strahlen-guilloché dial and the dial comes with the typical original Breguet frost finish

The movement is hand-guilloché, hand-skeletonized and hand-engraved! It is finished with blue platinum and rose gold.

For requests and orders, I warmly invite you to send me an e-mail at info@watchcollector.lu.

Kind regards.
Christian

Benzinger "3/4 Skelett"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "3/4 Skelett".

This is a very interesting watch because of its extraordinary design of the dial with the combination of the hand-skeletonized movement.

The movement is completely hand-skeletonized, hand-engraved and hand-guilloché! It is finished with rose gold and rhodié.

The dial is hand-skeletonized, hand-guilloché and does have the typical original Breguet frost finish. The combination of the rose gold and rhodié finished movement with the original Breguet frost finished dial gives this watch a very special appearance.

Underneath I show you a personalized 3/4 Skelett.

This one we made for the "Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner" here in Luxembourg. The dial side we left "standard", but the movement side we completely individualized. This example can give you a good idea what is possible to be made. This model can be personalized on the dial side as well!

Benzinger "Zeitmaschine II"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "Zeitmaschine II".

The "Zeitmaschine II" is one of two chronograph models made by Benzinger. This one comes with its beautiful hand-guilloché and original Breguet frost finish dial. The hours and minutes are modified towards 4 o'clock, small seconds at 9 o'clock. Chronograph seconds in the center and the minutes at 12 o'clock. This dial features two styles of hand-guilloché, "Kornguilloché" (main dial) and "Strahlenguillché" (subdials). The dial is really difficult to finish because of its three subdials and the main dial. So you can say, that this watch features four different dials that need to be hand-guilloché. One small mistake and Jochen Benzinger need to start with a new workpiece (Sterling silver). The hands are flame blued.
The movement is hand-guilloché and hand-engraved, coated with blue platinum. The rotor is made of 750/000 - 18kt white gold and features the Benzinger coat of arms. This motive can be change to your personal wishes (different coat of arms, engraved car, ....).

Warmest Regards
Christian

Benzinger "Regulateur"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "Regulateur".

The Regulateur is available in black and white, but can be personalized as well. The hours are towards 12 o'clock, minutes towards 6 o'clock and small seconds at 6 o'clock. Small seconds are as well skeletonized with view on the mechanic.

  • Regulateur black: The black Regulateur comes with a black PVD coated ground dial and original Breguet frost top dial. Both dials are hand-guilloché and hand skeletonized. The movement is hand-guilloché, hand-skeletonized and hand-engraved with a black PVD coated ground plate. The Breguet hands are rose gold finished.
  • Regulateur white: The white Regulateur comes with an original Breguet frost finished dial in two parts. The movement is hand-guilloché, hand-skeletonized and hand-engraved with blue platinum finish. The Breguet hands are flame-blued.

Warmest Regards

Benzinger "Full Skeleton"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "Full Skeleton" in three different versions.

The "Full Skeleton" is, as the name says, full skeletonized by hand! The engraving and guilloché is done as well by hand!

As you can see, the lever jumper is skeletonized with the initials "JB" (Jochen Benzinger), for the initials you can choose as well yours.

The more, the skeletonization can be completely personalized with a coat of arms, pretty much whatever you can imagine can be skeletonized or engraved in your personal watch!

As you can see with these three models, you can change the appearance of the watch with only changing the "colours". The red gold version is probably more feminine with its stainless steel case and the rose gold movement. The black PVD coated and rhodié versions are more masculine, with its stainless steel case and black PVD coated movement or its DLC black coated case with the rhodié movement.

As well you can choose a rose, white or yellow gold case for your "Full Skeleton".

best regards.
Christian

Benzinger "Black T"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "Black T". This watch is a very discreet timepiece because of its colours white and black.

The dial, movement and bridges are all hand-guilloché, hand-engraved and hand-skeletonized! This is rare to find nowadays! And finished with black PVD, rhodié or original Breguet-frost finish.

The Sterling silver dial is in two parts:

  • upper part: original Breguet-frost finish with minutes indexes, open small seconds and open in the center with view to the hour wheel.
  • lower part: hours indexes and blackened

You have to look closely to the details in this watch or in all the watches made by Benzinger. It is just unbelievable how many details you can find in the timepieces made by Benzinger and it takes hundreds of hours of pure craftsmanship to finish a watch like this one!

As well as all the watches made by Benzinger the "Black T" can be personalized with your initials, coat of arms, almost whatever you can imagine (there are always limits given). As well you can have the watch with a gold case, yellow, rose or white.

Benzinger unique "Black Lizard"

Dear watch Aficionado.

I am very proud to introduce you the Benzinger unique "Black Lizard":

On a manufacturers fair in October 2011 Benzinger got to know Matthias Vickermann, one of the owners and directors at "Vickermann & Stoya", a workshop for fine custom-made shoes in Baden-Baden. On the tour through the huge leather stock Benzinger got the idea for a common project, as in "leather meets watch". It would of course be self-evident to give one of the watches an exclusive strap, maybe even something exotic, but that would be nowhere near enough: That is why Benzinger took a piece of black lizard leather and treated it so that they finally got an extraordinary dial. The combination of gold case and hour and minute indication applied on the black leather dial give an exclusive touch to the otherwise quite classical watch.

  • 18kt 750/000 rose gold case made in Pforzheim, diameter of 42mm, screwed-in strap lugs
  • hand-engraved, hand-guilloché, hand-skeletonized Unitas hand winding movement
  • two-part dial:
      • upper part (hour and minute indication) made of rose gold, hand-guilloché
      • lower part made of fine black lizard leather
  • swan neck fine regulation
  • hand-sewed alligator leather strap with hand-made 750/000 rose gold fastening
