Dear watch aficionado.
I am a big fan of the timepieces made by Svend, especially the early Worldtime watches as this "Communication" with its great looking white dial. I do prefer as well this white dial version then the blue dial example with the world map on it. It looks cleaner and it reminds me more about the legendary Patek Philippe 1415, which is one of my all time favorite timepieces and so I always tend as well to call this Andersen Genève "1415". The more, this white dial is rarer to find then the blue example and probably produced in only a few dozen examples. Another interesting information about these "Communication" pieces is that the case has the hallmark of APG (Andersen Perret Genève) but the cases were actually made by Jean-Pierre Haguemann (JHP) but his hallmark was not stamped into the inside of the caseback.
Here is the link to the Bonhams auction in New York, which will end on Monday March 11. In the description they say that the watch comes without accessories.
