Cartier designs are something different, classic and timeless. Like this 1970s Cristalor in white gold. These Cristalor are nicknamed after the casemaker N°104 Cristalor. One could think as well about the sculptural case which resembles a Crystal or a Diamond.
The present example has certainly spent some time on the wrist over the last 50 years, which can be seen by some scratches and dents on the case. But still, it is in very nice preserved and honest condition. The dial has taken a lovely cream colour/patina, without any hairlines and a nice oxidation on the border of the dial, where it touches the bezel. And the back of the dial shows some nice oxidation as one would expect from a 50 years old timepiece, especially when it’s been worn.
I do personally really like these Crisalor’s as they give a very special wrist presence. And the more, in white gold, they are very rare to find.
