Benzinger "Zeitsprung II"

Zeitsprung II, steel case 40mm, Korn-guilloché, roman hours
Zeitsprung II, gold case 40mm, Strahlen-guilloché, arabic hours

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "Zeitsprung II". Limited to 25 pieces, only 2 are still available!

What makes this watch so interesting is not only the design but also what is under the dial. Jochen Benzinger was able to locate a limited number of extremely rare Kasper movements 1415, which were made by Emil Kasper & Co in Pforzheim from 1911 to the 1970's.

Benzinger and his master watchmaker transformed the movement into a jump hour complication. Many modivications to the base movement were required to create the jump hour function.

I displayed 3 different versions of the "Zeitsprung II":
  • first one is with arabic hours and minutes indicator, satinless steel case 40mm, hand-guilloché dial (Strahlenguilloché)
  • second one is with roman hours indicator, stainless steel case 40mm, hand guilloché-Korn dial and the dial comes with the typical original Breguet frost finish
  • third one is with arabic hours indicator, 750/000 gold case 40mm, hand Strahlen-guilloché dial and the dial comes with the typical original Breguet frost finish

The movement is hand-guilloché, hand-skeletonized and hand-engraved! It is finished with blue platinum and rose gold.

For requests and orders, I warmly invite you to send me an e-mail at info@watchcollector.lu.

Kind regards.

Benzinger "3/4 Skelett"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "3/4 Skelett".

This is a very interesting watch because of its extraordinary design of the dial with the combination of the hand-skeletonized movement.

The movement is completely hand-skeletonized, hand-engraved and hand-guilloché! It is finished with rose gold and rhodié.

The dial is hand-skeletonized, hand-guilloché and does have the typical original Breguet frost finish. The combination of the rose gold and rhodié finished movement with the original Breguet frost finished dial gives this watch a very special appearance.

Underneath I show you a personalized 3/4 Skelett.

This one we made for the "Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner" here in Luxembourg. The dial side we left "standard", but the movement side we completely individualized. This example can give you a good idea what is possible to be made. This model can be personalized on the dial side as well!

Benzinger "Zeitmaschine II"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I will introduce you the Benzinger "Zeitmaschine II".

The "Zeitmaschine II" is one of two chronograph models made by Benzinger. This one comes with its beautiful hand-guilloché and original Breguet frost finish dial. The hours and minutes are modified towards 4 o'clock, small seconds at 9 o'clock. Chronograph seconds in the center and the minutes at 12 o'clock. This dial features two styles of hand-guilloché, "Kornguilloché" (main dial) and "Strahlenguillché" (subdials). The dial is really difficult to finish because of its three subdials and the main dial. So you can say, that this watch features four different dials that need to be hand-guilloché. One small mistake and Jochen Benzinger need to start with a new workpiece (Sterling silver). The hands are flame blued.
The movement is hand-guilloché and hand-engraved, coated with blue platinum. The rotor is made of 750/000 - 18kt white gold and features the Benzinger coat of arms. This motive can be change to your personal wishes (different coat of arms, engraved car, ....).

Warmest Regards
Christian
