Gravé main & émaillé. All the early Patek Philippe timepieces did have dials made by Cadran Stern, which were mostly all finished by the highly complicated gravé main & émaillé technique. This technique was very demanding and needed lot of craftsmenship, knowledge and experience to be done.

Patek Philippe 605 Heures Universelle with original box, certificat and instuctions

Dear watch aficionado.

This is a very special Patek Philippe timepiece, a reference 605HU (Heures Universelles) with its certificat d'origine, original box and the instructional sheet! The watch itself is in perfect condition. As one can see it has a very beautiful oxidation on the case and is still in perfect shape. The dial, a real feast to the eyes, completely gravé main & émaillé, a real piece of art.

The more, this is the only 605 Heures Universelles in such perfect condition combined with the certificat d'origine, original box and instructional sheet.

A real collectors timepiece.

NEW at my boutique ----> Rolex 1675 gilt dial

Dear watch aficionado.

NEW available at my boutique www.watchcollector.lu is this Rolex 1675 gilt dial from 1966.

This is a superbly preserved example of the legendary Rolex 1675 series with the much sought after gilt dial. The gilt gloss dial is a real feast to the eyes and has nicely aged lume plots with matching patina on the lume of the hands. The GMT blue red inlay has nicely aged and faded colours. The case as strong as one could wish for, fat lugs, nice bevels. The watch comes on a US stretch bracelet from 1966 which is still strong too.​

This is certainly one of the best preserved 1675's with gilt dial and it will be a great addition for every distinguished collector, as these examples are getting harder and harder to find in great original shape.

The signature and small seconds are all gravé main & émaillé and the minuterie is a perlage made by hand. The more, this sublime timepiece still retains its original box.

NEW at my boutique ----> NOS Tissot 1940s chronograph, black gilt dial, 35mm case

Dear watch aficionado.

NEW available at my boutique www.watchcollector.lu is this NOS Tissot chronograph from the early 1940s. This watch is what collectors dreams are made off now a days. For the early 1940s it comes in a greatly sized case of 35mm, which wears absolutely perfect on the wrist. The dial is a real feast for the eyes, black gilt and radium indexes and hands. The radium material took a lovely matching patina over the years, when it spent most of its time in a drawer where it lasted the last decades. It comes from the orginal owner who bought this watch in the 1970s at a official Tissot retailer.​

This timepiece is certainly a great addition for every collector as it combines all attributes, NOS condition, early 1940s, 35mm case, black gilt dial, radium indexes and hands with matching patina.

NEW at my boutique ----> NOS Lemania 105, lume dial, 35mm case

Dear watch aficionado.

NEW available at my boutique www.watchcollector.lu is this superb Lemania 105 coming in NOS condition. With its "Swiss Made T" signature, perfect lume plots on the dial matching the lume hands, it shows that it was probably manufactured in the late 1960s and still is in the perfect condition as the day, when it left the atelier back then. The dial is absolutely perfect and the lume has a matching patina as mentioned bedfore. The hands and baton indexes got a nice even oxidation over the last decades. The case is perfect too, 35mm, strong and sharp as on the first day.

To find these timepieces now a days in such great shape, coming from the first owner, is getting rarer and rarer. And so this is certainly a great opportunity for every gentlemen collector to add a superb chronograph to the collection.
