NEW Benzinger ONE project - Patek Philippe for Tiffany & Co. ----> the finished timepiece

Dear watch aficionado.

Since my last post for my Benzinger ONE - Patek Philippe for Tiffany & Co. project there was a lot that happened and we are very proud and honoured to announce that we have finished this extraordinary timepiece now. You can follow the complete path of the making for this sublime timpiece by clicking on the links as follows: 1st click here, 2nd click here, 3rd click here, 4th click here, 5th click here and 6st click here.

After an enormous amount of hours of pure craftsmanship, guilloché-main, gravé-main, squeletté-main, the result of the finished timepiece is really something very special and unique and a completely different timepiece than the original movement from Patek with so many beautiful details to discover. The movement itself is from ca. 1920 and was made by Patek Philippe for Tiffany & Co. To build a timepiece like the present is like to build a tailor-made suit for your client. You can see that the stitches are made by a person and not like in the industrie and mass-production by machines. On the watch you can see that the engravings are done by hand, that the guilloché is made like 100 years ago, that the squelette is done by hand.

The amazing and extraordinary front view of this unique and very special timepiece, with all it small and very spcial details to discover

The Calatrava cross, perfectly gravé-main and than pink gold gilted

The barillet, guilloché-main (like the other parts as well) with its nice maltheser cross, finished in dark grey and pink gold

The bridge that holds the balance from the dial side, nice finished with a superb gravé-main pattern

The hands which are from the same period, nicely flame blued

The design and the final result

The engravings on the movement, we left all original and filled it with black lacquer to have a nice contrast

The balance coq with its superb gravé-main pattern. The engraving "slow and fast" we left all original and filled it with black lacquer to have a nice contrast

This is as well the last Benzinger ONE that we have made and we only made 6 timepieces overall! But in future there will be more projects coming together with Grieb & Benzinger and the names will be Ferum, Aurum and Platinum. So I warmly invite you to stay tuned for the next timepieces that will be released, And if you want to have your own, personalized Grieb & Benzinger "Ferum, Aurum or Platinum" timepiece, I warmly invite you to contact me by e-mail on the following address info@watchcollector.lu so that we can discuss and design your own, unique and extraordinary timepiece. I'd be very pleased and honoured to receive your requests.

Big thanks as well to my client who allowed me to present his timepiece here on my blog.

Kind regards.
Christian
