When it comes to legendary Patek Philippe references, there is as well
always the 570 Calatrava that is named. Its timeless design, its size
makes this a watch that will still be a legend in hundred years or even
more then a legend.
This extraordinary example of a Patek Philippe 570J, yellow gold, is in remarkable condition. The case as sharp and thick as it
left the factory in 1955, the bezel still as sharp that you could cut
your fingers on it. And then there is that magnificent dial, perfect
gravé main et émaillé signature and small seconds plus a superb patina
on the indexes and hands. The facetts on the indexes and hands are as
sharp as on the first day. The more it retains as well its original PPC
buckle.
This 570J Calatrava is vintage at its very best. It
has everything that every distinguished gentlemen collector is looking
for, a perfect case, a perfect dial and sublime patina. This is
certainly a great addition to every collection.
