Sotheby's, April 8 in Hong Kong. 5 very interesting watches

I did spot five very interesting watches, which are for sale on the auction in Hong Kong April 8.

I start with the Patek Philippe Ref. 130 chronograph which was made in 1941, yellow gold and Breguet numerals. Lot n° 2448 and is estimated 22 609€ - 23 682€.

Then there is as well a really interesting Breguet pocket watch made in circa 1819. It is a quarter repeater Ref. 3341. This one is estimated 7348€ - 11305€. Lot n°2319.

And as well 3 limited A. Lange & Söhne timepieces. I start with the A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 platinum which was limited to 100 pieces made in 2005. Lot n° 2162 and is estimated 15 073€ - 18 841€.

The A. Lange & Söhne Richard Lange Referenzuhr in rose gold, which was limited to 75 pieces and this is number 55 was made in 2010. Lot n° 2213 estimated 18 841€ - 28 262€.

The A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk luminous in platinum was limited to 100 pieces and this is number 077 was made in 2011. Lot n° 2214 estimated 40 508€ - 61 233€.

Benzinger "Subskription Ebony VII"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I present you the Subskription Ebony VII by Benzinger. With its black dial and the applied indexes for minutes, hours and seconds, which are original Breguet frosted, this watch does have a very elegant appearance. The dial is hand-guilloché on an engine-turning machine they used a hundred years ago and as well it is hand-skeletonized! Through the opened dial, you can see the in house modification that brings the hours and minutes towards 12 o'clock.

The sapphire crystal back unveils the perfect finished movement. The main plate is black PVD finished. The "pont du barillet", the "pont du train de rouage" and the "coq" are rhodié finished. The movement is completely hand-skeletonized, hand-guilloché and hand-engraved!

Benzinger "Subskription IV all black"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I present you the Subskription IV all black by Benzinger. This is the same as the "Subskription IV" (Subskription IV wristshot) but instead of the blue platinum finish the all black does have a black PVD coated finish and a black DLC case. The minutes wheel is rhodié and the hours wheel black pvd coated. The dial is made of Sterling silver, hang-guillché and hand skeletonized. The more it is finished with original Breguet frost. Through the dial you can see the in-house modification to decenter the hours and minutes towards 12 o'clock.

The movement is black PVD coated and the "pont du barillet", the "pont du train de rouage" and the "coq" are all rhodié finished.

Benzinger "3/4 Skelett"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I present you the 3/4 Skelett by Benzinger. In comparison to the Vollskelett model this one is a more discreet watch with its beautifully hand-guilloché and hand-skeletonized dial (original Breguet frost finish). You can see the beautifully finished main plate, hours wheel, minutes wheel, the initials in the lever jumper and the barillet (which can be used as a power reserve indication). All the engravings, guilloché and skeletonization is done by hand!

When you turn the watch and have a look at the movement, you can see all those hand-finished details. The main plate is not that much skeletonized as at the "Vollskelett" model. This one is perfectly hand-guilloché and rhodié finished. The "pont de barillet", "pont du train de rouage" and "le coq" are all hand engraved and then hand-skeletonized. They are finished with rose gold.

Benzinger "Zeitfenster"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today I present you the Benzinger "Zeitfenster". This one is a very discreet and interesting timepiece with its hand-guilloché dial and hand-skeletonized small seconds/hours/minutes it makes this watch very special. Through the opening you can see the perfectly finished main plate, hours wheel, minutes wheel train gear and the barillet. The main plate is finished with blue platinum and the rest with rose gold. You can see as well the initials skeletonized in the lever jumper.

Benzinger "Vollskelett black"

Dear watch aficionado.

Today, I present you the "Vollskelett black" by Benzinger. This one is the more masculine version than the "Vollskelett" (wristshot of the Vollskelett) and "Vollsketelett diamonds" (presentation of the Vollskelett diamonds) because of its DLC black case and black coated initials in the jumping lever. But a lady loving black can wear it as well. How do the french say, c'est une affaire de goût. The movement is finished in rose gold and as well as all the Vollskelett-models by Benzinger at 1 o'clock you can see the "barillet" which you can use as power reserve indication!

Through the sapphire crystal back, you can see the movement which is finished in rose gold. The screws, "la roue de couronne" and "le rochet" are flame blued.
